Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure space in a cabin besides allowing a force applying point of a coil spring to be disposed near a wheel while setting the coil spring to a desired spring constant in the case of shortening the whole length dimension of the coil spring for the reason of lowering the floor height of a vehicle body.
SOLUTION: In a coil spring fitting structure in a suspension A with a coil spring 4 extensible in the height direction of a vehicle, fitted between an axle support member 1 of a suspension A and a vehicle body above, a height direction intermediate part 4b of the coil spring 4 is formed larger in coil diameter than an upper part 4a and a lower part 4c of the coil spring 4, and a center axis C1 of the upper part 4a and lower part 4c of the coil spring 4 is decentered outward in the cross direction of the vehicle from a center axis C2 of the height direction intermediate part 4b.
