Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telop area extracting method and device in which a judgment error can be reduced.
SOLUTION: This device is provided with a storage part T903 for storing a true telop area in a video for learning and the featured values, parameter calculating part T304 for outputting the judgment parameter of the true telop from the storage part T303, storage part F305 for storing a pseudo telop area and the featured values, parameter calculating part F306 for outputting a judgment parameter from the storage part F305, distance calculating part T901 for calculating a distance Db between the vector of the featured values of the telop candidate area of a video to be extracted and the vector of the featured values of the true telop area, distance calculating part F902 for calculating a distance Df between the vector of the featured values of the candidate area and the vector of the featured values of the pseudo telop area, and comparing part 903 for comparing the distance Di with the distance Df, and judging the candidate area when the Di is smaller as a true telop area.
