To provide a compact color electrophotographic device capable of printing two kinds of full color images much different in printing size, with high accuracy in a short time.
The electrophotographic device is constituted of a rotationally movable image forming unit group in which four image forming units of yellow, cyan, magenta and black are annularly arranged. At this time, two kinds of intermediate transfer belts 4A and 4B for a letter size and a legal size which are different in length are housed in two kinds of units 2A and 2B. Then, a recessed part is formed in a belt carrying path for the intermediate transfer belt 4B whose length is for the legal size and the respective units 2A and 2B are constituted in the same appearance shape and can be installed in the electrophotographic device.
