Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a colorant for viscose dope good in compatibility with the dope, and capable of obtaining packaging materials or rayon yarns excellent in luster, clearness and color intensity.
CONSTITUTION: This colorant for viscose dope is obtained by dispersing a pigment in an aqueous solution of sodium salt of carboxymethyl cellulose. In this case, the carboxymethyl cellulose to be used is such that the haze number of a film 65μm thick made by incorporating 10 pts.wt. of viscose with 1 pt.wt. of this carboxymethyl cellulose is ≤25.
