Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly form a combing line (straight at a prescribed position) with a simple operation.
SOLUTION: Projecting teeth 13a longer than other comb teeth 13 are formed at the central part of the main body of a comb and on the other hand, arms 14 and 15 for holding the head while being expanded in the planting direction of comb teeth are installed at both the terminal parts of the main body of comb so as to be moved along the lengthwise direction of the main body of comb. The projecting teeth 13a are made thicker than the other comb teeth. A comb frame 12a is provided with stopper means 21 and 22 for preventing the deviation of arms and a scale 23. Projecting lines are formed on the surface of the comb frame along the lengthwise direction of the main body of comb and recessed grooves to be engaged with the rib lines can be formed inside long holes 14a or arm base end parts as well. When the hair is combed from the front of the head to the back of the head while holding the head in between the arms, the combing line can be formed by the projecting teeth 13a.
