Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simply install a buffer material and prevent the material from being easily separated after installation in a latch bolt of a silent lock.
CONSTITUTION: A main body 1 is so constructed that an inclined part 3 is formed on the front and end surface parts 4, 5 parallel to each other are formed on both ends. A linear groove 12 is provided in the center of the inclined part 3, and dovetail grooves 6, 7 connected to the linear groove 12 are provided on the end surface parts 4, 5. Recessed grooves 8, 9 are continuously provided in the rear of the dovetail grooves 6, 7, respectively, and locking projecting parts 10, 11 are provided on the bases of the recessed grooves 8, 9. A fitting groove 13 is provided in the substantially middle part of the inclined part 3. A buffer material 2 is so constructed that end plate parts 17, 18 having a trapezoidal section are continuously provided on both ends of an inclined plate part 16 in parallel to each other, and expanded parts 19, 20 having a rectangular section are provided on the rear end parts of the end plate parts 17, 18. Engaging recessed parts 21, 22 are provided on the inner surfaces of the expanded parts 19, 20. A fitting projection 23 is provided in the middle of the inner surface of the inclined plate part 16.
