PURPOSE: To shorten a line using time by slowly execute cordless communication between a slave set and a master set and rapidly executing communication between the master set and the external.

CONSTITUTION: In the communication equipment for executing cordless communication between the slave set 100 and the master set 200, temporarily storing data obtained from the slave set 100 in the master set 200, and then transmitting the data from the master set 200 to the external, image data are transferred from the slave set 100 to the master set 200 at a slow speed of about 2400 to 4800bps. The master set 200 temporarily storing the slow data from the slave set 100 in its memory 34 rapidly transmits the stored image data at about 9600bps. Since the communication between the master set 100 and the external can rapidly be executed independently of the speed of cordless communication between the slave set 100 and the master set 200, the line using time is shortened.
