Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system that enables devices at both ends of a communication path to reliably obtain IP addresses of the respective opposite devices when a secure communication path is established.SOLUTION: A communication system includes an access point device and a server device. The access point device comprises: means for transmitting an acquisition request for address information on an opposite device to the server device; means for receiving the address information on the opposite device transmitted by the server device in response to the acquisition request; and means for establishing a secret communication path to the opposite device on the basis of the address information on the opposite device. The server device comprises: means for storing the address information on the opposite device to which the access point device should connect; and means that refers to the address information storage means, identifies the address information on the opposite device, and transmits the address information as a response to the acquisition request to the access point device when the acquisition request for the address information on the opposite device is received from the access point device.
