Title:
COMPACT FLUORESCENT LAMP AND LIGHTING SYSTEM USING THIS LAMP
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3393451
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a compact fluorescent lamp and a lighting system using this fluorescent lamp by which the deterioration of a light flux is reduced and the deterioration of external appearance can be reduced by preventing a blackening surface of a bulb from facing outward.
CONSTITUTION: Electrodes 4 are sealed and installed in both end parts of a bent bulb 2, and in these electrodes 4, filaments 5 are constructed on a pair of internal lead wires 7 and 7, and auxiliary electrodes 10 and 10 whose tips project more to the discharge space side than the filaments, are installed on these internal lead wires, and these auxiliary electrodes are installed so as to deviate to one side from the coil axis of the filaments. In this compact fluorescent lamp, the electrodes 4 arranged in both end parts of the bulb 2 are installed in the direction for the deviating directions of the respective auxiliary electrodes 10 to become more distant from each other. Thereby, even if blackening is caused on an opposite surface of the deviating directions of the auxiliary electrodes 10, since this blackening caused surface becomes a surface opposed to an adjacent tube, it does not face outward.
