PURPOSE: To eliminate the tension of an adhesive tape and prevent cutoff and separation of the adhesive tape by a method wherein an adhesive tape and a base tape are fixed by a first pin and a second pin makes a component separate off penetrating the adhesive tape from the rear of the base tape.
CONSTITUTION: A push pin 17 which makes a component 2 separate from an adhesive tape 7 and a positioning pin 18 which penetrates both the tape 7 and a base tape 3. A pickup 19 descends and bears on the component 2, the pin 18 ascends and fixes the tapes 7 and 3 by penetrating them. The pin 17 ascents and separates the component 2 as penetrating the tape 7. The pickup 19 ascends and both the pins 17 and 18 descend, and finally a delivery wheel 11 is made to rotate and the following component is positioned at a feed position 16. By these processes, the tension of the tape 7 is eliminated and the tape is protected against cutoff and separation.
