Abstract:

To provide an MRI contrast medium stable in a culture solution and enabling unerring MRI diagnosis.

The composite of a cationic polysaccharide derivative and a magnetic metal oxide has the following properties: the aggregation degree is 4.0 times when the composite stands still in D-MEM (Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium) containing 20% fetal bovine serum at 37C under 5% CO2 condition for 24hr.
