To provide a composite particle for cosmetic from which the elution of zinc oxide is reduced, and which has excellent oil resistance and good formulation stability; to provide a method for producing the particle; and to provide the cosmetic containing the particle.
The composite particle for the cosmetic comprises a polyolefin-based resin having ≤5 area% proportion of components having ≤500 molecular weight measured by a gel-permeation chromatography (GPC) method, and zinc oxide. The composite particle for the cosmetic is obtained by heating and mixing the polyolefin-based resin having ≤5 area% proportion of components having ≤500 molecular weight measured by the GPC method with the zinc oxide, and spraying and solidifying the resultant mixture in a gas phase. The method for producing the composite particle and the cosmetic containing the composite particle are also provided.
