Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prepare a resin compsn. for a relay case, excellent in the sound insulation properties, adhesion to an epoxy resin, and molded appearance, by compounding a mixture comprising a polypropylene and a modified polyolefin with a metal power. CONSTITUTION:A composite resin compsn. for a relay case, having a density of 2.0kg/cm<3> or higher, is prepd. by compounding: 15-35wt.% pref. 20-30wt.%, resin mixture comprising 10-70wt.%, pref. 20-50wt.%, polypropylene and 90-30wt.%, pref. 80-50wt.%, modified polyolefin (e.g. a polymer obtd. by modifying a polypropylene with a hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene and maleic anhydride); with 85-65wt.%, pref. 80-70wt.%, metal powder (e.g. zinc powder).
