Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition containing pravastatin for slowing the progression of coronary disease and high cholesterol blood disease for patients recognized to have such diseases. CONSTITUTION: This composition for slowing the progression of coronary atherosclerosis contains pravastain, preferably pravastatin sodium. Further, in its treatment, e.g. it is preferable to administer systemically through an oral or a non-oral route by approximately 10-80 mg/day dose for a sufficient period of time to slow at least approximately 40% progression rate of the coronary atherosclerosis.
