To make a docking process easy and flexible, to provide reliability, to realize a computer docking device at a low cost, to prevent robbery and to unnecessitate the addition of a desk top space concerning the computer docking device to be used while docking portable computers, and a method for docking and drawing the computer.

In the computer docking device to be used while connecting a notebook-type computer 10, a desk 14 has a desk top 17 and an opening part. Besides, the desk 14 is provided with a docking drawer 12 arranged away from the surface of the desk top so as to house the notebook-type computer 10 and to be moved inside the opening part between opening and closing positions. Further, a platform docking connector and a docking connector are provided so as to be operated as electric interfaces with the notebook-type computer 10.
