PURPOSE: To manufacture the conductive roll for electroplating having excellent corrosion resistance and wear resistance by incorporating specified ratios of Cr, No and Si into Ni.

CONSTITUTION: An alloy contg., by weight, 13 to 30% Cr, 15 to 30% Mo and 2 to 5% Si, contg., at need, ≤5% of one or more kinds selected from W, Cu and V and/or one or both of ≤10% Fe and ≤10% Co and the balance substantial Ni is prepd. In this way, the alloy having excellent corrosion resistance and wear resistance can be obtd., which is useful as the structural material for the barrel part of a conductive roll for electroplating.
