To obtain a connector with a grounding plate that is improved in shield effect and can absorb them even if there are fluctuations in the installation position of the receptacle and the plug to the substrate.

The connector with a grounding plate comprises a plug 2 which has a grounding plate 7 provided in the center of a housing 6 and a terminal arranged on both sides of the grounding plate 7 and a receptacle 3 which has an outer housing 10 of a frame shape and an inner housing 12 provided inside the outer housing 10, and has arranged the outer housing 10 and the inner housing 12 so that a signal terminal 13 having a flexible part and a grounding terminal 14 having a flexible part to be mutually in parallel and cross the grounding plate 7, and has jointed them movably. Thereby, since the signal terminal 13 and the ground terminal 14 are provided in parallel, shield effect is good, and since the outer housing 10 and the inner housing 12 are jointed movably, the position slippage between the plug 2 and the receptacle 3 can be absorbed.
