Title:
CONSTANT-CURRENT DRIVING DEVICE AND CONSTANT-CURRENT DRIVEN SEMICONDUCTOR INTEGRATED CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3500322
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce variance among the outputs of semiconductor integrated circuits even when a load is driven divisionally by multiple semiconductor integrated circuits by outputting a constant current driving the load corresponding to a reference signal in each constant-current driven semiconductor integrated circuit from a drive circuit on the same semiconductor chip.
SOLUTION: Of a constant-current driver IC1, the constant-current driver circuit 10 supplies a driving current to 64 driving output terminals 001 to 064 according to a reference current inputted to a reference current input terminal IREF. A control circuit 11 turns ON or OFF the driving current outputted from the constant-current driver circuit 10 according to an input signal. A reference current generating circuit 12 generates reference currents having the same current value from three reference current output terminals OREF1 to OREF3 including a reference current output terminal for supplying a reference current ot the reference current input terminal of the constant-current driver circuit 10. Further, the values of the reference currents led out of the respective reference current output terminals OREF1 to OREF3 can be adjusted.
