Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect and disconnect a clutch means in response to a running state of a vehicle even if a releasing value which releases the clutch means is set to a relatively low value.
SOLUTION: The device comprises an actuator 6 for controlling an opening degree of a throttle valve 4 at a time of constant speed driving, cruise control means 8 for controlling an operation of the actuator 6. In this case, the actuator 6 includes a DC motor 10 for rotating the throttle valve 4 and clutch means 12 for selectively transmitting a driving force from the DC motor. When both a state in which the running speed of a vehicle is more than a predetermined value compared with a set running speed and a state in which a closing side operation signal to the DC motor 10 is generated are continued during a predetermined time, the cruise control means 8 generates a clutch releasing signal.
