To provide a construction method for a roofing tile which enables the fixation of the roofing tile by omitting the process of mounting of a positioning member, such as a tape for a vertical crosspiece and a crosspiece, on a roof surface to the utmost.
A surface locking part 17 of a protrusive streak, which is provided to a tail 4 of the surface of a covering part 7 of a reference tile M1, is locked to a backside locking part 24 which is provided in a region to a head 3 on the backside, and a hook 16 which is provided on the tail side of the reference tile M1 is engaged with a part 19 to be locked which is provided in an insertion part 8 of a pantile U2. Thus, upper and lower pantiles adjacent to each other are locked to each other in two places and positioned, so that the construction of the pantiles can be performed in horizontal and upward directions. Consequently, workability is improved by omitting the process of fastening a tile crosspiece to the roof surface, and the excellent effect of consideration of environmental issues is exerted by reducing the number of used members.
