To provide a content display control device that can suppress unnecessary communication of an application that generates a content image when content is displayed, and can efficiently display highly convenient content.SOLUTION: In a content display system 100 in which a content display control device mounted on a vehicle M and a content distribution server 30 can transmit/receive data to/from each other via a network NW, a content display control device 10 includes an application control unit that controls the operation of each of a plurality of applications that communicate with an external device, and a display control unit that scrolls and displays a portion of a plurality of content images corresponding to each of the applications on a display screen. The application control unit determines the communication mode of each of the applications in accordance with the display order of scrolling display of the plurality of content images starting from a content image in a display state displayed on the display screen.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
