Abstract:

To obtain a content distribution system which creates and distributes CG animation content in an encoding system and at a bit rate both conforming to the type of a content browsing terminal.

The content distribution system is constituted of a server 1, a content browsing terminal A14, content browsing terminals B 15 and 16, and a network 21 connecting the server 1 and each of the content browsing terminals. In the server 1, animations are created from 3D CG data sources and are converted in prescribed formats corresponding to the performance of the content browsing terminals and network speed. Users access the server 1 from the content browsing terminals to browse contents which they desire. Contents are distributed with data being in forms conforming to the performance of terminals and the network speed.
