PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contents detecting device capable of improving detection accuracy of contents.SOLUTION: A contents detecting device 101 comprises a container 80, a holder 140, and a sensor 110. The container 80 constitutes a first space S1 which houses a powder P. The sensor 110 comprises a fixing part fixed to the holder 140, a sensor part 16 extending from the fixing part to the first space S1, and a circuit part extending from the fixing part in a direction opposite to the sensor part 16. The sensor 110 is fixed to the holder 140 in a state in which a principal surface of a piezoelectric film is orthogonal to a gravity direction. The holder 140 constitutes a second space. The circuit part is located at the second space. The sensor part 16 includes an end part 51 inserted into the container 80.
