This circulation type continuously rice cooking apparatus is provided with a conveying line to continuously convey a plurality of rice cooking pots, a rice feeding part 4 for feeding the rice cooking pots 3 with cooking rice and cooking water, a rice cooking part 6 for cooking rice, an inversion cooking part to withdraw and treat the cooking rice from the rice cooking pots and a rice cooking pot washing part 10 to wash the rice cooking pots after the withdrawing of the cooking rice and the rice cooking pots are conveyed to the rice feeding part 4 again after the washing part 10. The optional number of empty pots are inserted between a plurality of rice cooking items which undergo continuous cooking and the rice cooking part 6 is provided with a bypass path 11 to convey a rice cooking pot 3a alone to a rice cooking path 12 while an empty pot 3b is inserted between the plurality of items again after the cooking of rice avoiding the rice cooking path 12.
