PURPOSE: To make it needless to extend a floor area of a machine room and to increase height of the machine room even in a case when an automatic emergency landing operation device on standby power is added to a control device of a hydraulic elevator.

CONSTITUTION: A microcomputer control circuit CIR1, a relay circuit CIR2 and a valve control circuit CIR3 control driving of an elevator as they are supplied electric power from a power source 3ΦAC200V at the time when the commercial power source is normal and carry out flooring control at the time of power failure by an instruction from a power failure time automatic flooring drive control circuit as they receive electric power from a battery BT at the time of power failure. Equipment in a block in a dotted line including CIR1-CIR3 are stored in a first control console, and equipment in a block in a dashed line including CIR4 are stored in a second control console. The second control console is arranged in a hydraulic power unit, and it is connected to the first control console by a connector.
