Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly control the ignition timing by precisely judging a present operation condition on the basis of an accelerating characteristic inherent in an internal combustion engine.
SOLUTION: An ECU (an electronic control device) 10 is composed of a microcomputer 11 composed of a CPU 11a, a ROM 11b, an RAM 11c, an input circuit 11d, an output circuit 11e or the like, driving circuits 13a, 13b and 13c to respectively drive ignition coils 21a, 21b and 21c by an ignition signal outputted from it and a wave reshaping circuit 12 to input a pulse signal outputted from a turning angle sensor 1 to the microcomputer 11 by reshaping a wave. By such constitution, a present operation condition is judged on the basis of an accelerating characteristic inherent in an internal combustion engine, and since the always optimal ignition timing is set for its operation condition, performance of the internal combustion engine can be improved.
