Abstract:
To reduce the difference in an amount of exhaust gas directed to a turbine of a supercharger between both banks, an internal combustion engine in which an exhaust gas recirculation passage is provided only on one bank side.SOLUTION: An electronic control unit controls the opening of a first wastegate valve without depending on the opening of an exhaust gas recirculation valve, while controling the opening of a second wastegate valve to be larger as the opening of the exhaust gas recirculation valve is larger (steps S10 to S60).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
