Abstract:
To provide a control device and a control method capable of appropriately stabilizing behavior of a saddle-riding-type vehicle.SOLUTION: A control device and a control method according to the present invention comprise a control part capable of executing anti-lock brake control that performs at least once a control flow where pressure-reduction control for reducing brake fluid pressure of a target wheel, hydraulic pressure-retention control for retaining the brake fluid pressure, and pressure-increase control for increasing the brake fluid pressure are executed continuously in this order. The control part determines whether or not to execute a mode of shifting from the hydraulic pressure-retention control to the pressure-reduction control or a mode of prohibiting a shift from the pressure-retention control to the pressure-increase control during execution of the control flow, on the basis of wheel speed of the target wheel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
