Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid energy consumption while improving the startability of an internal combustion engine which is mounted to a vehicle.SOLUTION: In a control device which performs preheat processing for promoting the gasification or atomization of fuel before a cold start of an internal combustion engine, the control device starts the execution of the preheat processing when sensing a specified motion which is performed by a driver before the cold start of the internal combustion engine, and when an ignition switch is not turned on even if a prescribed time elapses after the start of the preheat processing, interrupts the execution of the preheat processing until the ignition switch is turned on.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
