To install a remote monitoring function part easily separably on a control panel, to switch/select a communication passage according to the electric wave state, and to transmit information regarding the operation circumstance of an elevator.
In the control panel box 1, a remote monitoring base plate 4 for taking-in and transmitting operation state information of the elevator obtained by the control panel base plate 3; a remote monitoring power switch 6 and a PHS power switch 7 installed near the base plate 4; and a PHS antenna 9 attached to an upper part in the box 1 are provided. The remote monitoring base plate 4 has a PLAFS communication part 42 and a packet communication part 43, and when the power switch 6 is in the ON state, it performs PLAFS communication when the electric wave state of PHS is sufficient. When the electric wave state is insufficient, the control panel with the remote monitoring function for the elevator for performing packet communication on the condition that a telephone line 14 is drawn-in.
