Abstract:
To save a state of a real-time controller.
The method includes: receiving a command 43 to save a state 44 of a controller 26 coupled to an industrial system 10, the controller 26 comprising a processor 32 and a non-volatile memory 42; capturing the state 44 of the controller 26 during control and monitoring of the industrial system 10; and writing the captured state 44 to the non-volatile memory 42 of the controller 26.
