To inhibit a high pressure from rising above a specified pressure, in an internal variable control type control valve for a compressor.

The control valve 10 for the compressor controls the flow rate of refrigerant to be supplied into a crank case from an outlet chamber by a valve section 11 when a power element 12 has detected suction pressure Ps. The valve element 17 of the valve section 11 is configured so as to be operationally separated from the power element 12 for driving the valve element 17. When the differential pressure between the discharge pressure Pd and the crank case pressure Pc becomes higher than the specified pressure, the valve element 17 serves as a differential pressure control valve. As a result, when the differential pressure becomes higher than the specified pressure in the state that the valve section 11 is operating so as to open and close a valve port 16 according to the suction pressure Ps, the differential pressure control valve independently operates so as to open the valve port 16. Therefore, the discharge pressure Pd does not become excessively high.
