Abstract:

To adjust a parabolic antenna installed in a movable carrier in response to the longitude, latitude, and altitude of a satellite with the use of the control function of a controller by providing the controller for adjusting the orientation dynamic state of the parabolic antenna installed in the movable carrier.

The controller for adjusting the orientation dynamic state of the parabolic antenna installed in the movable carrier comprises a GPS position tracking device for receiving a satellite signal; a parabolic antenna adjusting mechanism; a GPS position processing unit for generating at least one present GPS position signal from the satellite signal by analysis; a GPS position comparator for receiving the present GPS position signal which is generated by the GPS position processing unit, comparing it with a target GPS position setting value which is preserved in a GPS position setting value register, and outputting at least one GPS position error value when a difference exists between them; and a microprocessor for generating at least one correction control signal by calculation, based on the GPS position error value, so as to drive the parabolic antenna adjusting mechanism, and adjusting the orientation of the parabolic antenna in response to the satellite.
