Abstract:
PURPOSE: To supply constant-pressure gas to consuming facilities at all times by comparing a control signal for holding compressed gas at set pressure and a control signal corresponding to the cutoff of the consuming facilities, and outputting a signal which is large in the extent of opening to a by-pass control valve.
CONSTITUTION: When the respective consuming facilities 15-17 are in normal operation, a pressure detector 22 transduces the pressure of the compressed gas into an electric signal (a), a pressure controller 23 outputs the control signal (b) for holding the compressed gas at the constant set pressure, and a by-pass control valve 21 returns a part of the compressed gas to the suction side of a compressor 11, thereby controlling the pressure of the compressed gas. When one of the consuming facilities 15-17 is cut off for some reason and one of contacts 15a-17a is closed the pressure controller 24 outputs the control signal (c) corresponding to the cutoff facility. This signal (c) is set larger than the extent of opening of the by-pass control valve, so a comparison controller 25 outputs the signal which is larger in the extent of opening to the by-pass control valve 21 as a result of the comparison between the signals (b) and (c) to prevent the pressure from rising.
