Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify control of an engine along with a motor, to enhance the reliability of the motor, and to enable running, even by only the engine through controlling of the drive conditions and generating condition of the motor, independently of the control of the engine, on the basis of the operating conditions of the engine and the car.
SOLUTION: A motor 6 is directly connected to an engine 4, and an engine control means 20 for controlling the operating condition of the engine 4 and a motor control means 22 for controlling the drive condition and generating condition of the motor 6 are provided with. The engine 4 is connected to the engine means 20 and to a sub-battery 28, and the motor 6 is connected to the motor means 22, the sub-battery 28, and a main battery 38. Consequently, it becomes possible to simplify control, by controlling the engine 4 and the motor 6 separately and to enhance the reliability of control of the motor 6. Furthermore, running with only the engine 4 becomes feasible by the use of the engine means 20, even when the voltage of the main battery 38 lowers and driving of the motor 6 becomes difficult.
