PURPOSE: To give the optimum braking command by arithmetically operating braking force by travelling resistance and braking force by gradient resistance previously.
CONSTITUTION: An adhesive brake pattern generator 70 and a travelling resistance pattern generator 80 input the speed V of a car and output each braking force βNi, βr, and a gradient resistance generator 90 inputs a distance X and outputs the braking force ±βg by the gradient resistance. The braking force βNi, βr, ±βg is added, and βi is obtained. A deceleration computing element 60 inputs the speed V of the car and the distance X, and arithmetically operates the deceleration βc of the car. A command selector 100 inputs the deceleration βc and the braking force βi and outputs a notch i. Accordingly, stable deceleration, a variation section thereof is little to command value, is obtained.
