To solve the problems in a conventional structure that protrusion of an adhesive for bonding a glass top plate to a frame spoils the appearance, and application of an excessive load to the glass top plate may cause chipping of the end surface of the glass top plate.
This cooker comprises an equipment top plate including an upper plate 2 as the top plate composed of glass, a receiving plate 3 arranged on the lower surface of the upper plate to receive and hold the whole upper plate, and a protective frame 4 molded in a substantially U-shaped sectional shape, which covers substantially the whole circumference of the end portions of the upper plate 2 and the receiving plate 3. The cooker further comprises a protective lid 9 provided in the periphery of an exhaust port cover 10 of a grill. According to this, the strength of the whole top plate can be kept by the protective frame 4 while preventing the spoiling of the appearance by protruding of the adhesive or the like, and the top plate strength in the grill exhaust port part can be also kept by the protective lid 9.
