To provide a cooking apparatus which can suppress generation of soot during cooking.
A cooking chamber 1, which contains a cooked object 2 and has an intake 4 and a jet 5, a circulation air course 7 which communicates with the intake 4 and the jet 5, a blast means 8 which circulates from the jet 5 to the intake 4 air within the cooking chamber 1 through the circulation air course 7, a heating means 9 which heats air within the cooking chamber 1, a door 10 which opens and closes the front opening 1a of the cooking chamber 1, mounting device 3 which mounts the cooked object 2, and a saucer 6 which receives soup dropping from the cooked object 2 set under the mounting device 3 are included, the soup receiving face 6a of the saucer 6 is inclined with the front falling, and since the soup flows down the inclined soup receiving face 6a and concentrates in the front part of the saucer 6, oil dropping from the cooked object 2 broadly spreads over the saucer 6, there are less occasions of being heated to disperse as the soot, and soot and smell, which come out to the exterior of the heating cooking device, can be reduced.
