Title:
COOKING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3530585
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent a temperature-sensitive sensor from being neglected to be returned to an operating position from a non-operating position by returning the temperature- sensitive sensor from the nonoperating position to the operating position by an electric signal from a pot sensor which checks the presence/absence of a pot.
CONSTITUTION: For a pot sensor 3 which senses the presence/absence of a pot 2, e.g. an infrared ray sensor, etc., are used, and the pot sensor 3 is connected through an electromagnetic actuator A and controller C. When the pot 2 is put on a stove, the putting is sensed by the pot sensor 3, and the electric signal is inputted in the controller C. Then, the electromagnetic actuator A is turned OFF by a command from the controller C which has received the electric signal, and a temperature-sensitive sensor 1 at a non-operating position wherein the temperature-sensitive sensor 1 is not in contact with the bottom of the pot is returned to an operating position wherein the temperature-sensitive sensor 1 comes into contact with the bottom of the pot. Therefore, danger due to the negligence to return the temperature-sensitive sensor 1 to the operating position can be eliminated, and also, when the pot 2 is put on the stove, or when the stove is cleaned, etc., the temperature-sensitive sensor 1 is prevented from being damaged or obstructing a motion due to still remaining at the non-operating position.
