Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily open/close a shutter member and to prevent the damage of a sealing property by providing projecting members engaged to turn the shutter member in positions out of an extension of an opening provided on the cylinder of a toner cartridge.
CONSTITUTION: Two projections for opening and closing operations 13a1 and 13a2 and 14a1 and 14a2 are provided in the positions facing each other across the extension of a toner discharge opening 12a on both end parts in the axial direction of the toner cartridge respectively. When the toner cartridge is completely inserted, the cartridge and the shutter member 20 are in a state where the toner discharge opening 12a is communicated with a shutter opening 20a and further, the flange projections 13a1 and 13a2 and 14a1 and 14a2 are engaged with both end parts of the shutter member 20 so as to hold its four corners respectively. Therefore, the shutter member 20 can be integrally rotated by the rotation of the toner cartridge and adhesion between the outside surface of the toner cartridge and the shutter member 20 is held by a seal member 20b.
