Abstract:
PURPOSE:To facilitate the assembling of a core member by providing ribs extending widthwise of a tire and having the surface tapered to the front end to be thinned on both ends of the core member and fastening both ribs with a fastener and an U-shaped bolt to connect the core member in the form of ring and fix it to the rim. CONSTITUTION:While the bead portion of a tire 2 is fitted in only bead seat of one of rims 1 and the other bead seat is dropped in a well 1a, a plurality of core members 3, fastener 5, U-shaped bolts 6, 7, etc. are inserted inside the tire 2. The U-shaped bolt 6 is passed through a slot of the core member 3 and temporarily assembled by threading nuts 7 onto said bolt. Next, a spanner is inserted from between the rim 1 and a flange to tighten the nut 7 and attract the fastener 5 toward ribs 3a by the U-shaped bolt 6. Thus, the ribs 3a, 3a are fastened to each other through a tapered surface so that the core member 3 is shaped like a ring and tightly secured to the well 1a. Thus, the assembling is facilitated.
