Abstract:
To provide a correction device and a correction method capable of suppressing variations in steering torque with respect to input torque.SOLUTION: A correction device for a power steering unit including an actuator that generates an assist force for rotating a steering wheel based on an instruction value corresponding to input torque when the steering wheel is steered by a driver comprises: an acquisition unit that acquires input torque and information on the rotation of the steering wheel; a storage unit that stores the input torque and a target value related to the rotation of the steering wheel in association with each other; and a correction unit that corrects the instruction value corresponding to the input torque associated with the target value based on the input torque when the information on the rotation of the steering wheel is acquired.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
