PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic method for releasing an active ingredient to uninjured skin in a controlled fashion in accordance with the ion content in or on the skin in order to provide a cosmetic benefit to the skin.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a composition containing an organic ion exchange resin that is a copolymer containing styrene and divinyl benzene monomer unit, and a resinate that is bonded in noncovalent fashion to the resin and contains at least one kind of ionic cosmetic active ingredient selected from pyrrolidone carboxylic acid, zinc, and escin, the composition is applied on sweating skin.SELECTED DRAWING: None
