PURPOSE: To obtain a cosmetic having excellent hair nourish-accelerating action, wet-keeping action and subcutaneous blood flow-increasing action, etc., by including a cultured material derived from an action of a specific bacterium to a liquid hydrocarbon as a raw material in a specific condition as an active component.
CONSTITUTION: A liquid hydrocarbon is used as a raw material and a bacterium having an ability of producing oils and fats affecting the liquid hydrocarbon is affected to the hydrocarbon, and the resultant oils and fats are contained as active components in the aimed cosmetic suitable for hair-nourishing and skin, etc. The bacterium belongs to genus Mycobacterium, genus Brevibacterium or genus Arthrobacter. Concretely, a new 0-201 strain of genus Mycobacterium (FERM-P-14532) is preferable. The oils and fats are preferably extracted from endo-biomass by an organic solvent. Furthermore, before the extraction by the organic solvent, the biomass is preferably performed an enzyme treatment and/or mechanical treatment. This cosmetic is used as a hair-nourishing agent, a hair cream, a hair tonic, a shampoo or a skin cream, etc.
