Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cosmetic composition, uniform and stable even with the passage of time without adding a special compound thereto, having an original and new touch with suppleness and capable of assuming a good and persistent gloss after application thereof by combining a wax with fatty substances and a silicone rubber. SOLUTION: This anhydrous cosmetic composition in the form of a supple paste comprises a wax such as beeswax, carnauba wax or Japan wax, a fatty substance (a part thereof is preferably a nonsilicone fatty substance) and a silicone rubber. The silicone rubber is selected from among a polydimethylsiloxane, a polyphenylsiloxane, a polyhydroxysiloxane and rubbers represented by the formula [R1 , R2 , R5 and R6 are each an alkyl; R3 and R4 are each an alkyl or an aryl; X is an alkyl, OH or vinyl; (n) and (p) are each selected so as to provide a higher viscosity than 100,000 mPa]. Liquid paraffin, liquid vaseline, perhydrosqualene, a vegetable oil such as a sweet almond, a palm or a caster, lanolic acid, oleyl alcohol, etc., are cited as the fatty substance.
