Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify and smooth the open/close mechanism of a dust-proof cover which is divided into a front and a rear parts for covering the upper part of a grain stem carrier part in a cutting device.
SOLUTION: The dust-proof cover 3 for covering the upper part of the grain stem carrier part of the cutting device 1 is provided divisionally into a front part cover 4 and a rear part cover 5, the front end part of the rear part cover 5 is superimposed on the rear end part of the front part cover 4 by proper length from an external side, the rear part cover 5 is rotably supported by a support arm 6, a horizontally long slide rail 7 provided in the rear part cover 5 is loosely fitted to a guide roller 8 which is slidably supported by the front part cover 4 and the rear part cover 5 is sliding-opened/closed in the upper side position of the front part cover 4 by the activation of the support arm 6 and the slide rail 7.
