Title:
CROSSLINKED SILOXANE POLYMER FOR OPTICAL USE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS61254625
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the titled polymer containing a substituent group and having a refractive index variable freely within a wide range, by racting a siloxane polymer containing hydrogenated silicon with a specific organic compound having substituent group for the control of refractive index and crosslinking the resultant polymer.

CONSTITUTION: The hydrosilylation reaction of (A) an organic compound having one or more carbon-carbon unsaturated bonds and a substituent group for the control of refractive index (preferably an aromatic hydrocarbon group or a fluorine-containing hydrocarbon group) with (B) a siloxane polymer having hydrogenated silicon group to obtain a siloxane polymer having the above substituent group introduced into the side chain of the above siloxane polymer. The objective polymer can be produced by crosslinking the product by the hydrosilylation reaction of the hydrogenated silicon remained in the above reaction with (C) an organic compound having two or more carbon-carbon unsaturated bond.
