PURPOSE: To obtain a crude refuse treating device which pulverizes the garbage, such as vegetable rubbish, discharged from the kitchen of home by flushing the garbage into this device from a sink.
CONSTITUTION: This crude refuse treating device consists of a crude refuse treating machine 20 connected to the outflow port 11 of the sink 10, a crude refuse separating machine 30 connected thereto by a U-pipe and a crude refuse recovering section connected by a feed pipe for feeding the crude refuce separated by this crude refuse separating machine 30. The crude refuse treating device described above is provided with a drain line which is connected to a sewer pipe from the crude refuse pulverizing machine 20 and the drain line is provided with a stop valve 61 to drain the water in the crude refuse pulverizing machine 20 by opening this stop valve in the event of clogging of the device with the crude refuse. The device provided with a control means for stopping the driving of the crude refuse pulverizing machine 20.
