Abstract:
To provide a crude-silver anode bag suppressing the swelling due to the contents, capable of reducing the short-circuiting due to the silver deposited in electrorefining, and facilitating smooth operation of the cleaning and discharge of the content.
The swelling of a double bag 10 due to an insoluble material 15 is suppressed by an acid-resistant reinforcing strips 22 provided between the lower parts of the two walls of the double bag 10 and made of an acid- resistant material. Hence a scraper 14 is smoothly driven and the dendritically grown, deposited silver 13 is thoroughly scraped off prior to a short circuit.
