PURPOSE: To provide a coating compsn. which has a good balance between stain resistance and elongation and gives a coating film hard enough and excellent in curability and weatherability.
CONSTITUTION: This capable coating compsn. a cured coating film which has an elongation of at least 80 %, comprises a copolymer of an acrylic monomer with a polyester macromonomer which has both a polymerizable carbon--carbon double bond and a hydrolyzable silyl group in the molecule, a number-average mol.wt. of 500-5,000, and a main chain having a glass transition point of-10°C or lower, a polyester having hydrolyzable silyl groups at both the molecular ends and a glass transition point of -10°C or lower, a cure catalyst, and a dehydrating agent and/or a solvent.
